I built Fuego Digital, an independent music distribution platform that helps artists publish content globally, track performance, and manage releases through a centralized dashboard experience. The product combines a high-conversion public website (“Ignite Your Audience Globally”) with authenticated tools for artists and administrators.

The platform messaging focuses on global reach, real-time analytics visibility, and full royalty collection transparency—positioning Fuego Digital as a modern alternative to fragmented distribution workflows.

Context and goals

Music distribution is operationally complex: artists need a clear submission flow, a reliable way to manage their catalog, and responsive support, while administrators need tooling for content curation, moderation, and communication at scale. This project goal was to ship a product that feels premium and trustworthy, while covering the critical end-to-end workflow:

  • Public marketing site that explains the value proposition and drives signups/leads.

  • Authenticated artist portal for release submission (“send tracks”), catalog management, and settings.

  • Admin dashboard to manage content (e.g., featured hits), users, inbound messages, and support.

  • A design system that looks modern and consistent across landing + dashboards.

My role

I built the entire platform solo, owning product design, UI/UX, frontend, backend, and deployment.

Core responsibilities:

  • Designing the information architecture (public site → onboarding/auth → artist dashboard → admin tooling).

  • Building dashboard UX for artists (submission, catalog, support, settings).

  • Building admin workflows (content management, support operations, user/file management).

  • Shipping production deployment on Vercel with a Next.js codebase.

What I built

Public website (conversion-focused)

The homepage is designed as a crisp entry point for artists, centered on a simple message and clear call-to-action (“Get Started”). The copy highlights three primary benefits—global reach, detailed analytics insight, and transparent royalty collection—to reduce confusion and make the offer easy to understand.

Artist dashboard

I built an authenticated dashboard for artists with a structured set of modules:

  • Overview: quick snapshot of what matters right now (account state, recent activity).

  • Send tracks: a guided submission workflow for distributing new releases.

  • My tracks: catalog management for previously submitted content.

  • Artist profiles: profile management and presentation.

  • Support tickets: a clear support path that keeps communication centralized.

  • Settings: account and preference management.

Admin dashboard

I built a separate admin surface to operate the platform:

  • Manage hit songs (curation and front-page content control).

  • Support tickets (triage, response, resolution workflows).

  • Contact messages (lead and inbound request handling).

  • Manage files (operational file review and organization).

  • Manage users (access, accounts, and platform-level administration).

Technical implementation

Fuego Digital was built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel, enabling a single cohesive codebase for both the marketing site and authenticated app surfaces. The platform is structured to support both public content rendering and gated, role-based dashboard experiences (artists vs admins), which is essential for security and clean operations.

Design and UX were treated as first-class engineering requirements: the landing page and dashboards share a consistent visual language so users feel continuity from first visit through daily usage.

Challenges and decisions

  • Two-user-system problem (artists vs admins): I separated experiences so each role sees only what they need, reducing cognitive load and preventing operational tooling from leaking into the artist experience.

  • Workflow clarity: submission + catalog management can get confusing quickly, so I designed the dashboard modules around mental models (“send”, “manage”, “get help”).

  • Trust as a feature: music distribution requires credibility; the site’s messaging emphasizes transparency and analytics access to support user confidence.

Results and impact

The outcome is a production-ready, high-design platform that supports the full lifecycle: attract artists, authenticate users, handle submissions, manage catalogs, and run operations through an admin dashboard. It delivers a premium, modern UX aligned with the product promise of global distribution and transparent insight.
